About Denver Plumber Pros: an independent plumbing guide for Denver

Denver Plumber Pros is an information and referral-request website for homeowners in the Denver metro area. It is not a plumbing company, and this page explains exactly what that means.

Quick answer

Denver Plumber Pros is an independent homeowner guide operated by SWKM GmbH in Munich, Germany, managing director Sebastian Kaiser. It is not a licensed contractor and does not perform plumbing work. It publishes sourced information on costs, permits and licensing, and answers emailed referral requests with next steps and, where available, an introduction to a licensed contractor.

Who runs this website?

Denver Plumber Pros is operated by SWKM GmbH, a company registered in Munich, Germany. The managing director is Sebastian Kaiser. Full company details are in our legal notice, and how we handle any information you send us is described in our privacy policy.

We do not have an office, workshop or staff in Colorado. We have no phone line, no vehicles and no technicians.

Not a licensed contractor

Denver Plumber Pros is not a plumber, not a plumbing business and not a contractor of any kind. We hold no Colorado plumbing license and no Denver contractor license, and we do not perform, supervise, schedule, price or guarantee any plumbing, heating or sewer work. Nothing on this site is an offer to do that work.

That distinction matters in Colorado. Plumbers are licensed individually by the State Plumbing Board within the Division of Professions and Occupations, and plumbing businesses register with the state. Inside the City and County of Denver, businesses also need a Denver contractor license, which Denver issues itself and does not reciprocate from other counties or states. Any work on your home should be done by a contractor who holds the licenses that apply to that job and location.

What we do

  • Explain costs. We summarize published cost ranges from established guides such as HomeGuide, HomeAdvisor and Angi, always labeled with the source and year, so you can judge whether a quote is in a normal range.
  • Explain rules. We link to the official pages for Colorado licensing, Denver permits and contractor licensing, Denver Water, Denver Wastewater and Xcel Energy, and summarize what they say.
  • Explain warning signs and first steps, such as where your main shutoff usually is and who to call if you smell gas.
  • Answer referral requests by email. See below for how that works.

What we do not do

  • We do not send anyone to your home or respond to emergencies.
  • We do not quote, set or negotiate prices, and we do not take payments for plumbing work.
  • We do not publish customer reviews, ratings or testimonials, because we have none to publish yet. Our reviews page explains our policy.
  • We do not guarantee the work of any contractor. If we introduce you to one, your contract is with that contractor.

How does a referral request work?

  1. You email dispatch@denverplumberpros.com with your city or ZIP code, a description of the problem, the type and age of the equipment, photos if you have them, and when you are available. The contact page lists what helps most.
  2. We read your request and reply with next steps: what the problem likely involves, what questions to ask, and which permits or licenses apply.
  3. Where a licensed local contractor is available for that type of job and area, we offer an introduction. You decide whether to contact them.
  4. Any estimate, contract, payment and warranty is strictly between you and the contractor you choose.

We currently have no signed partner contractors. Until that changes, most replies will be guidance rather than an introduction.

Editorial policy: how do we source and check facts?

  • Primary sources first. For licensing, permits, utility rules and safety guidance we use official sources: Colorado DORA, the City and County of Denver, Denver Water, Xcel Energy, ENERGY STAR, the U.S. Department of Energy, the CPSC and the FTC.
  • Cost guides are labeled. Cost figures come from published consumer cost guides and are shown as that guide's estimate, with its year. They are national ranges unless stated otherwise, and they are not our prices.
  • Every number is linked. Each page lists the sources we opened and used. If we cannot verify a figure, we leave it out.
  • No invented content. We do not publish made-up reviews, case studies, statistics or staff profiles.
  • Dated reviews. This content was last reviewed in October 2026. Rebates and permit rules change, sometimes yearly, so check the linked official source before relying on a figure.
  • Corrections. If you find an error, email us with the page and the correct source, and we will review it.

How can a contractor apply to be listed?

Licensed contractors serving Denver and the surrounding cities can email dispatch@denverplumberpros.com with the company name, the license numbers that apply (Colorado state license or registration and, for work in Denver, the Denver contractor license), proof of insurance, the services offered and the areas served. We verify licenses against the state license lookup and the relevant city before any introduction. Being listed is never a ranking, an endorsement of every job or a guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a company in Germany running a Denver plumbing website?

SWKM GmbH, based in Munich, runs independent homeowner information sites. Research and writing do not require a local office, but the work itself does require local licensing, which is why this site does not do plumbing work and instead points you to Colorado and Denver license checks and to licensed local contractors.

Does Denver Plumber Pros charge homeowners anything?

No. Reading the site and sending a referral request by email are free for homeowners. Any estimate, contract or payment for plumbing work would be directly between you and the contractor you decide to hire. We do not collect payments for plumbing work.

How often is the information on this site updated?

Pages were last reviewed in October 2026. Utility rebates, permit procedures and cost guide figures change over time, sometimes every program year, so each figure links to its source. Before acting on a rebate amount or permit rule, open the linked official page to confirm the current version.
